If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet is rarely offered for sale. We have only auctioned five examples of it, and only two in the past 18 years! It is surely extremely popular among collectors who have wives or daughters named "Laura"! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had all of its borders trimmed off, slightly extending into the edges of the image on all four sides, but it was mostly solid background areas that were affected. It also had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss on small parts of some folds. It had a few pinholes and smudges in the image. There was small writing on the back of the poster that bled through to the front in a small white area below part of the bottom of the "L" of the title. The colors of the poster were very bright, and had not faded at all (a problem often seen with this poster). Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. A really talented restorer expertly recreated the missing blank borders and the slight missing parts of the image, and they did a really nice job. I would think very few collectors would realize this poster has had this restoration, and it will look great on the new owner's wall. However, read the above carefully and look at our super-sized image before bidding on this poster. Learn More about condition grades
