Each poster features a wonderful image or art of one of the many locations that the railroad visits. The SNCF was founded in 1938 with the nationalization of France's main railway companies. Artist: Bernard Villemot Important Added Info: Note that the poster has been laminated (see below). Condition: poor to fair. The poster has been laminated and it was likely displayed outdoors as there is uniform staining on the laminate throughout front and back and there are pairs of staple holes along the upper edge. The lamination and moisture have caused deterioration and paper loss in portions of the edges (especially at lower left) and a few areas are backed by tape. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid and please do not bid unless you can accept the defects described above and that the poster is laminated and that process very likely cannot be reversed.
