An Original Vintage Unfolded Stage Play Poster (measures 21" x 23 1/4" [53 x 59 cm]) (Learn More) The New Baby, the 1900 David DeWolf stage play production ("A howling success"; "'Would you let your child die before your eyes?"'). If anyone knows more about this stage play, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster was placed on to a very thin linen backing shortly after being printed. The purpose was to reinforce the poster, so that it would survive, when it was passed from theater to theater, and when it was put up on walls and taken down. Such posters can be professionally removed from the original linen and placed on to a proper linen backing. I have done this to several such posters, and they end up looking wonderful. It has a snipe glued over the upper edge (that extends it to a total of 21" x 28" and the poster and snipe are backed in the same way.) It has a few tears along portions of the blank borders, but no other restoration was performed and it is otherwise in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
