An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Forty by Sixty Movie Poster (40x60; measures 40" x 60" [102 x 152 cm]) (Learn More)

Space O Rama, the circa 1950s silkscreen Forty by Sixty poster ("Thrills that dwarf any science fiction picture ever filmed!") featuring art of astronauts, planets, a space station and a rocket. We have never seen or heard of this poster before, but we would think it was a stock poster that theaters would display when they were showing a Saturday matinee of sci-fi! If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that until 2014, we had never seen or heard of this really cool poster before! We auctioned it at that time, and the person who purchased it has re-consigned it to us now, and since it is the exact same poster, it is still the only example of this poster we have ever auctioned (and no one has contacted us during those four years to explain anything about it).

Condition: good. There is light water staining down the left 4-5" of the poster and a much lesser amount in the top and bottom right of the poster. There are some dot stains in the bottom of the poster and a 2" tear near the center of the bottom border. There are some creases and scuffs scattered in the image and a tear in the left of the top border. Certainly, the poster has real defects, but it would likely be a pretty simple backing job for any talented restorer, and most or all of the water staining will likely disappear during the backing process (or of course, it could be displayed just as it is).
