Here comes Warner Bros. military musical!"; story and screenplay by Delmer Daves; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; about an Army private who meets a beautiful girl in Hawaii, and he gets sent to West Point, where her father has become the new commander) starring Dick Powell, Ruby Keeler, Pat O'Brien, Ross Alexander, John Arledge, and Tyrone Power Jr. (uncredited, as one of the cadets!). Note that some of the scenes in the movie were shot at the actual West Point Military Academy, including at the famous "Flirtation Walk" and the "Kissing Rock"! There is a 3" vertical cut in the title area right extending into the woman's shoulder at right (repaired with conservation tape from the back).
