Important Added Info: Note that this is a really cool "Style Guide" that was created in January of 1998 prior to the film's release in June of that year. It is a 3-ring binder with a plain black cover (no doubt so it could be better kept secret!) that contains 90 pages, with tabbed sheets in between the pages saying "CHARACTER ART", "RETAIL", "CHARACTER PROFILES", and "LOGO APPLICATION". It also has two CD-ROMs in a pocket on the inside front cover, which no doubt have the same information contained on the 90 pages. It has a letter from the Director of Marketing that is dated January 23, 1998, which explains how to use the CDs (which are "cross platformed for use on both PC and Macintosh computers"). It mentions that transparencies are not included, but that you can call and order a set. It concludes "Please let us know if you have any questions... and have fun!". Also included loose in the binder is an 11" x 17" color copy of a proposed X-Files one-sheet poster, that has "4/23/98" written by hand at the bottom, so obviously, it was sent three months later. They wanted the people to be able to see what the one-sheet would look like, but they obviously did not want anyone else seeing it, because it says "DO NOT DUPLICATE" and "CONFIDENTIAL" in the top and bottom borders (and in fact, this image WAS used as the "style D advance" one-sheet. This style guide is a really cool look inside the thinking of the studio in how they were marketing this movie!

Condition: very good to fine. The binder and its contents are in nice condition!
