Appears in Vintage Hollywood Posters 7 CATALOG SOLD OUT The image at right appears in the auction catalog we published as shown above and was sold long ago and we do NOT have it available for purchase. An Undated (probably 1944) Re-release Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Walking Dead, the 1936 Michael Curtiz horror fantasy murderer revenge melodrama ("He died a man with a hunger to love and returned a monster with an instinct to kill!"; "Karloff is coming from beyond the grave!"; about a man who is framed for a murder he didn't commit and is then executed, which would normally be "the end of the story", but in this case, a scientist invents a way to bring him back from the dead, and naturally, he wants to find those who framed him and get revenge!) starring Boris Karloff, Ricardo Cortez, Edmund Gwenn, Marguerite Churchill, Warren Hull, Addison Richards, Barton MacLane, Robert Strange, Paul Harvey, and Henry O'Neill NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). very good. There were small holes and tiny holes at the crossfolds. There was a 2" crease near the center crossfold. There was minor wear along the foldlines and some creases, smudges, and small tears around the edges of the poster. The poster was nicely restored and looks quite nice!
