An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 28" x 41") (Learn More)

Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Combined Circus, a 1945 circus nine-sheet poster featuring a great giant artwork image by Bill Bailey of a smiling clown tipping his hat! ("The Greatest Show on Earth"). If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. The modern version of the circus started in 1919 when the Barnum & Bailey's Greatest Show on Earth, a circus created by P. T. Barnum and James Anthony Bailey, was merged with the Ringling Bros. World's Greatest Shows. With weakening attendance and high operating costs, the circus closed on May 21st, 2017 after 146 years.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good to fine. There are minor creases throughout the poster, more so on the folds and around the edges of the poster.

This week we have given a more detailed overall condition grade along with more details about the condition described in words. Of course, we could not describe every single defect, plus there are some defects (like creasing, tape on the back, extremely tiny pinholes, etc) which can be VERY difficult to see, even in our largest "super-sized" image. Therefore we strongly recommend that you BOTH read our written description of the item, AND ALSO look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.
