Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned several examples of a poster that looks exactly like this in every detail, except it has a green background (it usually auctions for $700 to $900). THIS poster however, has a red background, and it is far more rare than the green background version (this is the first time we have ever auctioned this poster). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tears and tiny paper loss in the top horizontal fold and in the top quarter of the vertical fold, with a much lesser amount of wear on the other folds. It had tiny paper loss in the right of the top blank border and very minor wear in the other borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
