An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Island of Lost Men, the 1939 Kurt Neumann crime mystery thriller ("Based on a play by Norman Reilly Raine and Frank Butler"; "Screen play by William R. Lipman and Horace McCoy"; about a ruthless jungle plantation owner who is visited by the Asian daughter of a Chinese general, who wants to clear her father's name) starring Anna May Wong, J. Carrol Naish, Anthony Quinn, Eric Blore, and Broderick Crawford. Note that this was a re-make of the 1931 movie, "White Woman", starring Carole Lombard! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the playdates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the cardboard holder has staining around the staples, but the glass slide itself is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
