An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Chad Hanna, the 1940 Henry King romantic love triangle circus melodrama ("Printed in the Saturday Evening Post under the title of 'Red Wheels Rolling'"; based on the novel by Walkter D. Edmonds; about a country bumpkin who joins the circus in the mid-1800s, and he tries to win the heart of a beautiful horse rider, but she rejects him, but he finds love with a country girl who has also joined the circus, and he manages to save the circus from bankruptcy as well!) starring Henry Fonda (in the title role as Chad Hanna), Dorothy Lamour, Linda Darnell, Guy Kibbee, Jane Darwell, John Carradine, Ted North, Roscoe Ates, and Ben Carter. Note that this movie was made the same year as "The Grapes of Wrath", in which Fonda and Jane Darwell memorably appeared together! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this title card is extremely rare. We have never auctioned it before! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There are faint creases, smudges, tiny stains, pinholes, tiny tears, and an area of surface paper loss around the edges, with a few tiny dot stains and faint smudges scattered within the image. There are several tiny 1/8" tears in the lower left of the image, mostly in the solid yellow background areas, and there is an L-shaped razor cut at bottom center, around Roscoe Ates' credit. There is a tiny pair of staple holes in the upper left of the image, part of which is in Fonda's chin. There are several pieces of tape on the back of the borders. Learn More about condition grades
