Original Vintage Theatrical Herald (measures 9" x 6"; 2 pages) (Learn More)

The Man Who Played God, the 1932 John G. Adolfi melodrama (based on the play Jules Eckert Goodman; about an older musician who marries a pretty young woman, and after an accident leaves him deaf, his friends talk openly about him and his marriage, but then he learns to read lips, which causes him to "overhear" things that cause him to misunderstand how his wife feels about him) starring George Arliss, Violet Heming, Bette Davis (in an early role), Andre Luguet, Louise Closser Hale, and Donald Cook. Note that this is a re-make of the 1922 film that also starred George Arliss!

Important Added Info: This herald was folded in half at one time as was originally intended, but has been laying flat for a long time

Condition: very good to fine. There are minor creases in the edges of the herald. The top right corner of the back page has a paper clip stain.
