An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" Movie Still (with secretarial signature) (Learn More)

Betty Grable was an actress from the 1930s to the 1950s, often appearing in romantic musicals. Some of her movies include: Million Dollar Legs, Tin Pan Alley, Moon Over Miami, and Down Argentine Way. She is perhaps best remembered for her famous sexy legs, and one of her pin-up images, which was one of the absolute most popular ones displayed by soldiers during World War II (at one time, her legs were insured for $1,000,000 by Lloyds of London!). She was married to actor Jackie Coogan, and then later to bandleader Harry James (with whom she had two children). She passed away in 1973 at the age of 56 from lung cancer.
Important Added Info: Note that this still appears to have been personally autographed (signed) by Betty Grable, but we have been notified by autograph experts that they believe this to be a "secretarial" signature (meaning that someone who worked for Ms. Grable signed it before it was mailed to the person who requested it). Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10". Please do not bid on it thinking that it is 8" x 10".

Condition: good. There are three punch holes in the left border. Someone caused scuff marks scattered over the right two-thirds of the still (it looks like they might have scribbled on a paper that was laying on top of the still). The scuff marks are almost invisible when you look at the still exactly straight on, but are very noticeable when you tilt the still to the light. Please do not bid on this great signed still unless you can accept the scuff marks noted above (which are not very visible at all in our digital image).
