An Original Vintage Burlap Popcorn Sack (measures 17 1/4" x 27 1/2") (Learn More) Blevins Popcorn was an American popcorn company from the 1940s to the 1990s. Founded by James Victor Blevins in Nashville, Tennessee, it became one of the largest suppliers of movie theater popcorn and concessions. Important Added Info: Note that this is an actual 50 pound burlap popcorn sack from around the 1940s. Movie theaters would buy their popcorn in giant sacks like this, to save on the cost. We imagine a 50 pound sack lasted a theater quite a while, but it is hard to say. How cool would this look on your wall? Also, note that often these bags lacked the yellow coloring because of fading due to age, but the yellow on this bag is still quite visible! Note that this item needs to be shipped in an oversized flat package (sometimes a very large oversized package; see the dimensions of the item). So please bear in mind that this item must be sent in a LARGE flat package (the size of the package will depend on the size of the item), and bear this added expense in mind before placing a bid on it. In addition, some of the items that are in this section are ones that are "three dimensional" and need to be shipped in a box, and often need to be sent by themselves, so bear that in mind as well before bidding. Condition: good to very good. The burlap sack has dried out some and it was stored folded over (see our images). Learn More about condition grades
