Please Don't Eat the Daisies, the 1960 Charles Walters romantic comedy ("The uproarious movie from the big best-seller!"; "Based on the Book by Jean Kerr"; about a New York theater critic who has a wife and children in the suburbs and the temptations he faces, which are not very believable since his wife is Doris Day!) starring Doris Day ("Hear Doris Sing"), David Niven, Janis Paige, Spring Byington, Richard Haydn, Patsy Kelly, "...and the four little monsters!" (the four children of Day and Niven in the movie)

Artist: Stevenov
Important Added Info: The poster was placed on to a very thin linen backing shortly after being printed. The purpose was to reinforce the poster, so that it would survive, when it was passed from theater to theater, and when it was put up on walls and taken down. Such posters can be professionally removed from the original linen and placed on to a proper linen backing. I have done this to several such posters, and they end up looking wonderful!

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. After linenbacking a small amount was trimmed from the edges and there are some creases and stains scattered throughout the poster.
