The 'dagger', a celestial calendar rediscovered by Washington D.C. artist Anna Sofaer in 1977, is presently the only known site in the world that marks the extreme positions of both the sun and the moon. The film explores the extraordinary culture of the Anasazi Indians who constructed the calendar, and thrived both spiritually and materially in the harsh environment of Chaco Canyon, New Mexico, a thousand years ago.") narrated by Robert Redford. Note that this movie was first shown on PBS, but was later released on 16mm film and video, in both a 1-hour and half-hour version, and that it was primarily rented for school showings to students. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good.
