An Original Vintage Unfolded World War II Military Recruiting Poster (measures 25" x 38" [64 x 97 cm]) (Learn More)

U.S. Army: Guardian of the Colors, the 1940 U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster encouraging citizens to support the Army. Note that this poster features Tom Woodburn artwork of U.S. soldiers holding the American flag! Also, note that we know of two versions of this poster, one from 1936 and one from 1940! They are very similar to each other, although the words "U.S. Army" are in a different font on each of the two posters.

Important Added Info: Note that the poster here is the 1936 version of this poster (see above).

Condition: fair to good. Someone put white paper tape on the back of all the borders. There was a tear in the bottom center of the poster, extending into the bottom of the image, and someone put tape on the back of that tear that bled through to the front. There is water staining in the lower right blank border (see our image).
