The Inn of the Sixth Happiness, the 1959 Mark Robson (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award) China Asia World War II (WWII) military missionary romantic melodrama ("Overpowering in it's story of fire and faith... God and war... And the strangest softest of loves!"; "The love story of the white missionary and the Eurasian soldier under the China sky!"; "What is the 'Sixth Happiness'? Each of us must find it in our own hearts!"; "Based on the Book 'The Small Woman' by Alan Burgess") starring Ingrid Bergman, Curd Jurgens (billed as "Curt Jurgens"), Robert Donat (his career was cut short by severe asthma and a brain tumor; his final line in this movie was "I fear I shall not see you again", which proved to be true, because this was his final film appearance!), Michael David, Athene Seyler, Ronald Squire, Moultrie Kelsall, Richard Wattis, and Peter Chong

Condition: fair to good. There are two pieces of tape on the back of the center of two borders, but they were not put there for any restoration purpose. Those pieces of tape were partially roughly removed, causing large areas of surface paper loss on the back of the card. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the condition of this card.
