4 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man, the 1951 Charles Lamont science fiction (sci-fi) fantasy screwball horror comedy ("It's all New and a Riot too!"; "Hair raising! Howl raising! Hilarity!"; "You'll shiver... You'll shudder... You'll shout with laughter!"; incredibly loosely based on the classic novel by H.G. Wells) starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Nancy Guild, Adele Jergens, Arthur Franz (in the title role as the Invisible Man, Tommy Nelson), William Frawley, Sheldon Leonard, and Paul Maxey. Note that Costello is a detective in this movie, and he wears a deerstalker hat and smokes a pipe, in an obvious hommage to Sherlock Holmes!

Condition: good to very good. The card of Costello holding the watch is good to very good. It has a light horizontal crease across the card and pinholes and stains around the edges of the card. The card with the man hypnotizing Costello is in good condition. It h. Note that this lobby card is one of a collection of 38 excellent Abbott and Costello lobby cards eMoviePoster is selling this week on eBay! This collection was assembled by a collector over many years. It includes original and re-issue cards, but almost every card is in very nice condition, and is one of the better scenes from that movie. The reason there are re-issues included is because the re-issues for Abbott and Costello movies often contain far better shots of them than do the original lobby cards. It is rare that so many fine Abbott and Costello lobby cards are offered at one time! Be sure to look at the other 37 lobby cards we are offering (all as separate items).
