An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures 31" x 41" [79 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Return of the Jedi (now known as "Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi"), the classic 1983 Richard Marquand outer space science fiction (sci-fi) action adventure epic sequel ("Return to a galaxy far, far away!"; "The Saga Continues"; "The movie everyone's been waiting for!"; written and produced by George Lucas) starring Mark Hamill (as Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (as Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (as Princess Leia), Billy Dee Williams (as Lando Calrissian), Anthony Daniels ("as C-3PO"), David Prowse (as the man in the Darth Vader suit), Kenny Baker (as R2-D2), Peter Mayhew (as Chewbacca), Frank Oz (as the voice of Yoda), James Earl Jones (as the voice of Darth Vader), and Alec Guinness (as Obi-Wan Kenobi) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Josh Kirby Important Added Info: Note that this British quad measures 31" x 41" [79 x 104 cm] and it appears to have been printed slightly off-center (notice the thin blank border at top and the much thicker blank border at bottom). According to Star Wars experts, many original British quads from this title (and other titles of this time period) measure 27 1/4" x 40" (the accepted reason is that there were quads made in the smaller size for the London Underground), but that there are also some British quads that measure the full size (in some cases, these full or over-sized ones may be "printer's proofs", which seems quite likely in this case given the poster's off-center printing and registration marks in the borders). If anyone has further information about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Finally, note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. There are minor creases throughout the poster (more so along the foldlines and across the top). There are some tiny tears around the edges of the poster (again, mostly across the top).
