If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that first release 1935 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single poster or lobby card from the first release of this movie until we received this one-sheet! The movie received a quick re-release in the 1940s, and perhaps this explains why first release movie paper is so incredibly rare.

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had paper loss at each crossfold and two extra horizontal folds 1" above and below the regular middle fold. It had a tear and paper loss in the far left of Jones' head, in his cheek by his ear, and extending up into the hat. It had small tears and tiny paper loss on the vertical fold and a lesser amount of wear on the horizontal folds. It had paper loss in the top right corner, extending into the background, and pinholes and small paper loss in the rest of the borders. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. A talented restorer did a really nice job backing it, and you can hardly tell that it has had any restoration. It will display really nice on the new owner's wall, but bear in mind the restoration it has had before you bid on this extremely rare poster.
