Stemmle"; about a beautiful jewel thief in Paris who steals a pearl necklace, and who hides them in the luggage of an American engineer going to Spain, and then she must retrieve them from him, and in doing so, she falls in love with him) starring Marlene Dietrich, Gary Cooper, John Halliday, William Frawley, Ernest Cossart, Akim Tamiroff, Alan Mowbray, and Zeffie Tilbury (who had the part of her life at the end of her career, as Grandma in "The Grapes of Wrath") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that when one of the first movie poster books reproducing classic lobby cards was published in 1982, called "Foyer Pleasure", the publisher wanted a REALLY striking lobby card to put on the cover, and they chose this exact card! Since this book was many collectors' first introduction to the world of collectible lobby cards, a huge number of collectors have always dreamed about owning this wonderful card, and after this auction ends, someone WILL own it! Condition: very good. The card had small triangular paper loss in the left corners and it had been very lightly partially folded across the middle. It had some tiny tears in the left and right borders, and pinholes in the corners. It had a small tear in the right of the bottom border. Some talented restorer pressed and flattened the card and performed restoration to the above border defects without backing the card. You can see slight signs of the border defects, but they are not at all distracting, and the card displays fantastically, and the new owner will love having it on their wall!
