Webb silent forgery crime melodrama ("From the world famous story by Sir Charles L. Young"; a wild story about a young bank clerk who, to help the father of the girl he loves, forges a document that saves him from being ruined, but then he is found out, and he joins a gang of forgers, and he becomes very wealthy, but eventually he realizes the errors of his ways, and he gets the gang of forgers together on a yacht, and he causes it to sink, and he dies with them!) starring Lionel Barrymore ("America's Greatest Actor"; in the title role as James 'Jim' Ralston), Ned Burton, Charles Coghlan, James Laffey, and Gladys Leslie NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that any movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned anything other than a few lobby cards from this movie until we received this glass slide! Also note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good to fine.
