This means the poster was backed onto a paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. Also note while this poster can be rolled in a tube, it would be far safer to send it in a large flat package. We will do that, unless the new owner accepts responsibility for having it rolled. Prior to paperbacking, the poster had creases along the folds and many creases and scuffs scattered throughout. It had tape stains in the corners and pieces of tape in the center of the top and bottom borders. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to paperbacking. Paperbacking the poster has diminished how noticeable the creases and scuffs are, but they are still quite noticeable (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
