An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Cabaret, the 1927 Robert G. Vignola silent New York City nightclub crime romantic love triangle family relationship melodrama ("From the story by Owen Davis"; about a beautiful young woman who rises from an East Side tenement to headlining a fancy nightclub, but she gets caught between a detective and a gangster, both of whom want her, and her brother ends up killing the gangster!) starring Gilda Gray, Tom Moore, Chester Conklin, Mona Palma, Jack Egan, and William Harrigan. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. The card had some paper loss scattered in the top blank border with some tiny bits of paper loss in the left and bottom borders. Overall, the card was in good to very good condition prior to restoration. A talented restorer gel backed the card (meaning they backed the card onto a gel material) and they then performed excellent restoration to the above defects, and then removed the gel backing, so that the card still exactly looks and feels like an original card (and it is!), with no backing at all. You can see slight signs of the restoration, but the card displays really well! Learn More about condition grades
