An Original Vintage 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Decca Records Still (Learn More)

The Ink Spots (also known as the "Four Ink Spots") were a black African American quartet from 1934 to 1954. The group was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1999. Some of their works include: If I Didn't Care, Address Unknown, Java Jive, and We'll Meet Again. Since the Ink Spots disbanded in 1954, there have been well over 100 vocal groups calling themselves "the Ink Spots" without any right to the name, and without any original members of the group.
Important Added Info: Note that this still is one of a remarkable group of deluxe Decca Records Jazz portraits that was just discovered! Each is printed on a high quality paper stock, and each has a FACSIMILE autograph that is within the printing of the still (the still has NOT been personally autographed). They surely date from the early 1940s, based on the stars contained within, and the records listed on the back of each. We have never seen or sold any of these before! Each of the 34 portraits are listed in their own individual auction.

Condition: very good to fine.
