An Original Vintage Magazine (measures 4 1/4" x 6" [11 x 15 cm]) (Learn More) Tempo, a weekly digest-sized entertainment magazine. The magazine was similar to the much later People Magazine, long before that magazine started, but with a much greater emphasis on famous sexy ladies, and we don't know why it did not succeed. At some point in 1955, it merged with another similar magazine, Quick, and they added a "and Quick" to the cover below the title. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that the "cover girl" on this magazine, who also has an interior story, is June Blair, a very pretty model. The following year, she became Playboy's Playmate of the Month, and four years later, she married David Nelson (son of Ozzie and Harriet), and she quit show business and nude modeling, and they had two children. They divorced in 1975, and Miss Blair is still alive today at the age of 85! Note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, and pictures of interior two-page spreads (including the table of contents page if there is one; but we didn't make much effort to find the best ones!).
