What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had paper loss at some crossfolds and tears and small areas of paper loss on parts of some foldlines, more so in the foldlines at top center. There were some tape stains that had bled through to the front around the edges of the poster, entering the image background at top center. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects (especially in the man's forehead at top center).
