4h001 LOT OF 30 FRENCH MGM EXHIBITOR MAGAZINES '35-38 wonderful images including Laurel & Hardy!

a lot of 30 issues of French MGM exhibitor magazines. This was a magazine called "Le Lion Vous Parle" that was published irregularly in France from 1935 to at least 1938. Most issues had 8 pages, and each was filled with images and stories about the latest MGM movies being released not only in France, but also throughout the continent (Italy, Belgium, Spain, etc.). Given that MGM released movies with the Marx Bros., Laurel and Hardy, Greta Garbo, and other to stars during this period, they are well represented in these magazines, and many of the magazines show pictures of theater fronts in European countries displaying MGM movies. Prior to being consigned this collection of 30 issues of this magazine, we had never auctioned even one! They are surely extremely rare. We have pictured the front cover of each of the 30 issues, plus we photographed all 8 pages of one entire issue (the one from July-August 1935) so that you can see what one issue looks like completely (but you will have to buy the lot to see what the other 29 issues are like inside!).
Measurements: each measures approximately 9 1/2" x 12 1/2"

Condition: good to very good. All of the issues were folded in half at one time and several have rust at the staples. There is some wear on the covers. One of the issues (#29-30 from February 1936) has a 2" x 4" cut from an interior story about Broadway Melody of 1936. The rest of the issues are all complete and uncut.
