La Mariee Etait en Noir (released in the U.S. as "The Bride Wore Black"), the 1968 Francois Truffaut French/Italian crime murder mystery suspense thriller ("She was a bride when the violence happened... now she's a widow and it's going to happen again."; "The five men who killed the groom made one mistake... They should have killed the bride"; based on the novel by William Irish) starring Jeanne Moreau, Michel Bouquet, Jean-Claude Brialy, Charles Denner, Claude Rich, Daniel Boulanger, Michel Lonsdale, Alexandra Stewart, and Jean Louis Richard.
